Behind the scenes
There are many things that need to happen before we set off to do a video review. One of our values is connection. Connection with the owner who is passionate about their accomodation and service they provide. Connection to the property, it maybe the history, the location, the quirky look, the breathtaking views something unique about the property perhaps the owner has overlooked. We view the property through fresh eyes hence the in-depth research prior to setting off.
We love what we do so its equally as important to Jim and I that we work alongside people who love what they do.
It may sound frivolous but there are clothes to be carefully chosen for the review.
Each review normally has two outfit changes (Jim escapes this) its all depending on the location, the weather, what the outfits look like ….. anyone who wishes to sponsor me clothes and handpick them I delightfully welcome, I have to say its one of my least favourite parts🙏 😊
Jim has the joy of packing up all of the equipment. Lights, Mics, Cameras, Drones, Tripods, Batteries he then has to set them up on site and repack them for our journey home.
Following on from that there are two or more days of editing and post production which Jim takes care of. Each piece of music is carefully selected. No two videos will have the same music and something that not a lot of people know is that each music track downloaded costs £60, we only choose high quality.
Finally we have the social media aspect. I share all of our videos to Facebook, Instagram, YouTube & our Website. Each video will have a direct link or contact details for booking the accommodation. The owner of the accommodation will have their videos emailed to them accompanied with professional photographs, they have full permission to share wherever they wish.
